For the last decade, Shelton has been part of our lives. No January 1st New Year's Day has been complete for my family in Goa without listening to Shelton and his unique one man musical band. There is a lilt to his voice that brings back memories of music from another era: remarkably, he seems just as comfortable singing an old Beatles number, as he is with a Kishore Kumar song, as he is while playing a Goan medley. His music fills one with nostalgia and happiness, a happiness that one hopes will spread well beyond Goa to the rest of the country. Shelton, you are special, so keep the music going!
